Exploring pristine Lake Megunticook provides incredible opportunities to view the abundance of fauna and flora. Today we are highlighting the fauna. The photo below was taken from Maiden Cliff in Camden Maine which towers 800 feet above the lake. Lake Megunticook is very picturesque and has numerous coves and islands which make for great exploration.

We started nearly 300 Dahlia plants during the first week in April (plenty of snow still on the ground and 25°F) and they are now rewarding us with their colorful blooms. They are all so beautiful but our pick of the week is the lavender white beauty April Dawn.
