In 1996 after forsaking individual careers, our family of four designed and painstakingly constructed a tranquil and private seaside sanctuary that complements the natural beauty of the rockbound coast of Maine. We take great pride in having our guests take pleasure in the special environment that we have created.
Owners/innkeepers George and Kristin blog regularly on the scenic beauty of the Camden area, other attractions in Maine’s Midcoast, and current news of what’s happening in the vast gardens of their inn. Whether it’s fine dining, casual dining, sightseeing, scenic hiking, picturesque drives, schooner sailing, daytrips, or just about anything else that you’d enjoy, your insightful hosts are always available and pleased to assist you.

Restful & Peaceful Ambience
Guests enjoy the up-close water views and private comfort of the four luxury waterfront cottages that are strategically located along 500 feet of shorefront. Sit by a cozy fire, relax in a whirlpool tub, or simply lounge on your deck and listen to the waves gently lapping at the seashore.
Lush Gardens & Grounds
Our grounds feature an ever-evolving landscape and growing collection of plants. An abundance of perennial and annual gardens adorn the property with colorful flowers blooming throughout the season.
Nurtured in our greenhouse, 200 plus Dahlia plants decorate the Dahlia garden and showy blooms fill vases during their flowering season. The botanical elegance will beckon you to stroll the stone pathways and lawns of the inn.
